Monday Friday, 7:00 am 3:30 pm

Responsibilities for the Custodian
Promote teamwork through behavior, act in accordance with policies, and adhere to the goals and expectations defined by management
Keeps building in clean and orderly condition
Performs routine maintenance activities as well as heavy cleaning duties
Manages inventory of cleaning supplies
Safely mix, measure, and label concentrated cleaning products
Preserve a safe working environment by removing oil and other materials from the work areas
Keep a clean and organized area, ensuring that all containers are labeled
Complete assigned work tasks to building superintendent's satisfaction
Demonstrate safe work habits
Requirements for the Custodian
High school diploma or GED
Custodial experience
Thorough knowledge of operation and basic periodic maintenance of floor machines
Self-motivated with the ability to motivate those around you through action and behavior
Reliable, strong work ethic, able to self-direct, and able to work independently
Physical requirements: lift 25 lbs., stand on feet all day along with walking for long hours, able to work with strong chemicals
