The successful candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing daily operations in our auto repair shop, ensuring efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities:

Supervision and Leadership:

Lead and manage a team of automotive technicians, providing guidance, support, and motivation.

Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and effective communication.

Conduct regular team meetings to discuss goals, performance, and address any concerns.

Workflow Management:

Coordinate and prioritize daily repair orders, ensuring timely and accurate completion of tasks.

Monitor the progress of repairs, identify and resolve any bottlenecks, and adjust schedules as needed.

Collaborate with service advisors to communicate repair timelines and address customer inquiries.

Quality Control:

Implement and enforce high-quality standards for automotive repairs and maintenance.

Conduct regular inspections of completed work to ensure it meets industry standards and customer expectations.

Provide constructive feedback and training to technicians to enhance their skills and efficiency.

Technical Expertise:

Utilize your extensive automotive repair knowledge to troubleshoot complex issues and provide technical assistance to the team.

Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and advancements in automotive repair.

Safety and Compliance:

Enforce and promote safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment for all team members.

Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and procedures related to automotive repair and maintenance.

Inventory Management:

Oversee the procurement and management of parts and supplies necessary for the repair process.

Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with suppliers to maintain a well-stocked and organized shop.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as an automotive technician with a strong background in diagnostics and repair.

Previous supervisory or leadership experience in an auto repair setting.

Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

Knowledge of automotive industry regulations and safety standards.

ASE certification is a plus.
