Walla Walla Electric Security/Fire Alarm Technician Wanted:
Seeking qualified and motivated individuals with preferred minimum of 2 years experience in the installation, service and inspection of electronic security and fire alarm systems, audio visual, telecom, fiber optic, and networking. Individuals with natural talents and a willingness to learn are also encouraged to apply.
Candidates will need to complete all required paperwork as needed, manage projects accurately and in an efficient manner, deliver exceptional customer service, evaluate and diagnose equipment that requires servicing, ability to troubleshoot using logical problem solving skills, understand applicable national, state and local fire codes including NFPA 72, NFPA 70, and NFPA 101, program network switches, routers, and other devices to operate on clients LAN/WAN, have an above average understanding of Windows operating systems, able to lift equipment and tools 50lbs unassisted, able to climb ladders, work in all weather conditions and maintain a valid motor vehicle license.
Special consideration will be given to applicants with any of the following education or certifications but all are encouraged to apply:
Washington or Oregon Electricians License (specialty or otherwise)
NICET Fire Certification
IMSA Fire Certification
Commercial Drivers License
Associates Degree in electronics, computers, or formal education or experience in other low voltage systems.
Experience with Hochiki, Honeywell, Silent Knight, Gamewell, or Simplex systems preferred but not required.
