Culbert Construction Inc is a heavy Civil and infrastructure General Contractor that has been successfully contracting in Eastern Washington for 27 years. We are looking for a Grading Crew Foreman to work with our team. Please refer to all requirements needed below before submitting your resume.
Must be proficient at the following:
· Team leadership
· Grade checking / layout experience
· Five years using GPS
· Knowledge of machine control systems i.e., calibrate, set up, and trouble shoot (Topcon system experience preferred but not mandatory)
· Typical day may require two or more hours of drive time to and from various construction projects
· Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Responsibilities will include but not limited to
· Management of all GPS and grade checking equipment
· Management of lower tier Grade checkers / Operators / Laborers
· On site project management.
· Lay out and verification
· Site localization
· Responsible for reporting data to upper management
· Willing to perform other tasks as necessary to include: Perform takeoffs, assist in estimating, fill-in operator
Temperament and experience Requirements
· Work safely by yourself and with others
· A great team attitudes
· Five years in employment in this capacity
· Must be proficient in reading plans and specs
Management Requirements
· Point of contact for project level grading related work
· Liaison between company and Customer
· Schedule and equipment and labor needs
· Daily reporting of production
· Project schedule development and maintaining
Driving Requirements
· Clean driving record
· CDL is a plus.
