Hours: 40 Hours/Week
Salary Range: $16.80 - $20.45 per hour (DOQ/DOE)
Job Summary:
Senior Life Resources is seeking a dedicated Prep Cook to join our team at Mid-Columbia Meals on Wheels. The Prep Cook will assist in preparing meals for local seniors, ensuring all sanitation and health standards are met. This role involves supporting food production, packaging meals, and maintaining a clean kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in meal preparation using established recipes.
Ensure proper food storage and labeling.
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and equipment.
Record food temperatures and prepare special diet orders.
Help package and serve meals.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required.
Previous kitchen experience preferred but not required.
Food Handler’s Card required; ServSafe certification preferred.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance for occasional travel.
