Senior Life Resources is accepting applications for a dynamic Facilities Maintenance Supervisor. This ideal candidate will be a motivated team leader and help lead and coordinate maintenance operations, ensuring optimal functionality of facilities.

Summary of Role: The Facility Maintenance Supervisor plays a vital role in performing diverse tasks, including installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of production and facility equipment. Operating within safety guidelines and predictive maintenance systems, this position contributes to the achievement of the site's business goals. Overseeing six sites across nine counties, the Facility Maintenance Supervisor efficiently manages work orders, ensuring tasks are completed by either personally addressing them or assigning tasks to team members.

Essential Functions:

 Execute a diverse range of tasks, including the installation and maintenance of production machines and equipment used by Senior Life Resources staff.

 Address emergency and unscheduled repairs for Meals on Wheels production and kitchen equipment, while also conducting scheduled maintenance during machine service.

 Develop and manage project lists for each of the six facility sites.

 Collaborate with vendors and contractors with on-site renovations and remodels.

 Undertake simple machinist duties and responsibilities.

 Utilize mechanical expertise for troubleshooting and repairing vans and the transport fleet.

 Interpret equipment manuals and work orders for efficient maintenance and service execution.

 Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, and conduct necessary testing and adjustments.

 Implement routine preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and facilities.

 Supervise and perform various plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions.

 Utilize a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment to complete tasks.

 Identify faulty operations, defective materials, and promptly report any unusual situations with proper supervision.

 Adhere to safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in work areas.

 Fulfill other duties as assigned in alignment with the Facilities Maintenance Supervisor role.

Education and/or Experience:

 High school diploma or GED.

 2 years Supervisory experience.

 3 years of proven facility maintenance work.

Contingency of Employment:

 Acceptable criminal history background check.

 Acceptable driving record.

 Must have a personal vehicle for business use.

 Must provide proof of insurance on personal vehicle.

 Twelve days of annual paid leave (vacation) per year. Vacation accrual begins on the date of hire.

 401 (k) retirement savings plan. In 2023, SLR offers up to a 3% match to the employee’s contribution. For example, a 2% contribution gets a 2% match from SLR, etc. Contribution and matching to 401 (k) will occur after 30 days from hire date.

 Employee Assistance Program (EAP). Chaplain Service provides emotional, cognitive, behavioral, and spiritual support.
