As a Senior Software Engineer, focused on cloud infrastructure automation, you will have the opportunity to work on ServiceNow Platform and Tools, build solutions using workflows, orchestration and developer tools in Multi-Cloud infrastructure.
Our auditing framework (Instance Analyzer) allows us to collect information across our entire cloud infrastructure to make business decisions, apply emergency fixes to customer instances and ensure compliance.
You will work as a member of our developer team that scales our audit framework to meet the needs of the future.
You will also design and develop cloud automations to support the deployment and management of ServiceNow Platform/Products in our infrastructure.
In addition to tools and automation, you will interact with other members of the infrastructure organization and the ServiceNow development teams
Location note: This position is based in our Kirkland, WA office and requires a minimum of 2 days per week in the office.To be successful in this role you have:
4+ years of experience in professional software development with javascript, preferably in the Cloud Infrastructure Environment
Solid foundation in distributed systems with proven experience designing and architecting Systems
Advanced programming or scripting skills (using JavaScript) and experience in object-oriented design
Development of web-based database applications using PostGress or other relational databases
Experience integrating software and services using common API techniques (REST, SOAP, XML, etc.)
Exposure to Containers, Machine Learning or Big Data will be an advantage
Experience working in Public Cloud environments such as Azure, AWS or GCP
Excellent technical design, problem-solving, debugging skills and an aptitude for learning new technologies
Team player, attention to detail and ability to work well and communicate with others
BS/MS Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
GCS-23For positions in the Seattle metro/Kirkland areas, we offer a base pay of $137,000 - $233,000, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location. We also offer health plans, including flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, matching donations, a flexible time away plan and family leave programs.
