Material Handler - Weekend Shift (2024-023)Astronics Subsidiary Atronics AESLocation Kirkland, WADescriptionAstronics AES in Kirkland, WA is hiring a Material Handler on Weekend Shift.Hours are Fri – Sun 5:30am – 6:00pm. Work 36 hours and get paid for 40 hours.JOB SUMMARYThe Material Handler will manually move freight, stock, or other materials or perform other general labor in relation to managing materials for the production line.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Stock and distribute products and materials in inventory warehouses and manufacturing lines
Package and prepare products and merchandise for the shipping clerk.
Prepare and maintain records of items shipped (i.e. purchase orders, manual shippers, and work orders)
Perform daily cycle counts
Periodically rotate in RECEIVING for cross training
May drive a non-CDL box truck for deliveries
Other duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSEducation/Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent
Demonstrates familiarity of job duties (typically 1-2 years of direct experience in the essential functions of the position)

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
As a US Department of Defense Contractor, Astronics is bound by International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Must be a US Person under ITAR to be eligible .
