Project SpecialistJob Number: 345803Category: -Software & Systems SBUDescription: A Project Specialist/Deputy IPT job in Kent, WA is currently available at Belcan. As a Project Specialist, you will be responsible for all aspects of planning, preparing, issuing and aligning production schedules with inside and outside processing requirements. This coordination ensures a controlled flow of accepted materials and Engineering release, timed to meet production requirements. You will collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Inventory, and Production Control to ensure product meets requirements and are available to support internal and external processing.Project Specialist Job Duties:

Develops a master production schedule and manufacturing plan based on program schedule, customer ask date, labor, and machine resource availability, and expected make/buy part availability lead time.

Provides Production Control detailed information to ensure scheduled completion dates align with actual work center capacities, capabilities and historical performance.

Evaluates product scope and creates tactical schedules using various spreadsheets and databases.

When schedule recovery is necessary, identifies and analyzes solutions and bottlenecks, including forward and reverse scheduling methods.

Works closely with production team to determine the needs and constraints of the manufacturing shop floor, technicians, and schedules work accordingly.

Required Qualifications:

Minimum of high school diploma or GED, vocational training, apprenticeships or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience that will allow successful performance of job expectations.

Min 2-5 years of operations, production planning experience in a high-complexity, high part count, high precision, production environment

Labor load review, predict and evaluate resource requirements to complete part and associated assembly flows.

Familiar with standard concepts of planning and scheduling of work

Degree of creativity and latitude when faced with interrupts to plan

Able to make decisions using data provided and acquired

Must be a U.S. Person

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

Excellent communication skills, both written and oral

Experience with inventory control methods, production flow methods, current state, and future state process

mapping, line balancing, time studies and general industrial engineering concepts

Bachelor"s degree in a Business-related field

We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary range of $83,200 to $114,400.
