Description Responsibilities:
Review and analyze loan applications to ensure all necessary documents are included and accurately completed.
Verify applicant information, including employment, income, credit history, and assets.
Communicate effectively with loan officers, underwriters, and applicants to gather additional information or clarification as needed.
Prepare loan files for underwriting review, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Coordinate with various parties involved in the loan process, such as real estate agents, appraisers, and title companies, to facilitate timely closings.
Maintain accurate records of loan applications and follow up on outstanding items to ensure timely processing.
Provide exceptional customer service to applicants and address any inquiries or concerns throughout the loan process.
Requirements
Requirements:
Previous experience as a loan processor or in a related role within the real estate or mortgage industry.
Strong understanding of loan processing procedures, including knowledge of FHA, VA, and conventional loan programs.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Proficiency in using loan processing software and Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to multitask and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive information.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in finance or real estate is preferred.
