Description We are in search of an Accounting Manager/Supervisor to join our team. This role is based in Kent, Washington, and involves overseeing a small accounting team within our industry. You will be responsible for managing various accounting functions, utilizing software systems, and potentially growing into a controller position. Responsibilities: Oversee a two-person accounting team, ensuring accurate and efficient processing of accounting tasks Utilize your knowledge of Accounting Software Systems and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) to manage and improve our systems Handle both Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), ensuring all transactions are processed accurately and on time Conduct regular auditing to maintain the accuracy of our financial records Manage billing functions, ensuring all invoices are sent out and paid in a timely manner Utilize Dynamics GP to manage and streamline accounting functions Act as a Full Charge Bookkeeper, handling all aspects of our financial record keeping Oversee general accounting tasks, including reconciliation and reporting Handle state and local taxes, including DOR and BO Tax Outsource the payroll, ensuring all employees are paid accurately and on time.The salary range for this position is $100,000 to $110,000. Benefits available with this position include medical, dental and vision; life and disability insurances; participation in the company’s 401(k) plan with match and 15 days of paid vacation, 7 days of paid sick leave and 10 paid holidays per calendar year.Requirements Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems Experience with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning Understanding of Accounting Functions Familiarity with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Knowledge of Auditing procedures Ability to handle Billing Functions Experience with Dynamics GP software Capability to function as a Full Charge Bookkeeper General Accounting skills and knowledge Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field CPA certification is a plus Strong communication and leadership skills Ability to manage and lead a team Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
