Description We are a highly reputable firm located in Issaquah, WA, seeking a Senior Accountant ready to take their career to the next level. This position starts on a temporary basis, with potential for permanent hire, offering the right candidate an excellent opportunity to experience our company culture and be an integral part of our dedicated finance department.Responsibilities:
Overseeing routine department activities, such as disbursing checks and processing payroll, to ensure that they are completed accurately and on time.
Maintaining accurate and complete financial records and participating in audits or reconciliations, as needed.
Assisting in producing comprehensive financial reports, expense reports, revenue and asset analysis, and forecasts, as requested.
Reviewing department budgets and managing cost and revenue information for each department.
Evaluating financial operations to recommend best-practices, identify issues and strategize solutions, and help organizations run efficiently.
Offering supervision and guidance to junior staff members by answering questions and coordinating instructive sessions, as required.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
3-5 years of accounting experience.
Advanced knowledge of accounting software and Excel.
Familiarity with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
Exceptional interpersonal skills and a customer-centric approach.
