Find your future with us.Boeing Commercial Airlines (BCA) has an exciting opportunity for a Mid-Career Project Manager to join our Environmental Control Systems Integration team located in Everett, WA.The Environmental Control Systems (ECS) team is an organization of highly skilled women and men responsible for defining and integrating airplane systems for airplane cabin pressurization, air conditioning, ice and rain protection, fire protection, and avionics cooling. Our mission is to provide a safe and comfortable environment for passengers, flight crew, electronics, and cargo via the most reliable and cost-effective solutions.The Boeing Commercial Airplanes ECS Customer Introduction and Integration team supports 767/777 Legacy/777-9/777-8F customer introductions by overseeing & integrating multiple ECS engineering disciplines’ statement of work into the required customer introduction development and build schedules. Our team integrates with multiple internal and external engineering, scheduling, and manufacturing disciplines to develop amazing products. We are looking for a creative, high-performance project manager to join our team!Position Responsibilities:

Independently develops, coordinates, integrates, analyzes, and maintains an integrated plan and schedule to meet program and/or project requirements in accordance with project management industry standards.

Performs studies, analysis (trend, variance, impact), risk assessments to determine impacts, and constraints involving product development, production rates, process improvement, program initiatives.

Creates schedule, reports, metrics, change activity, communicates and updates plan regularly throughout lifecycle of program or project.

Works to improve project management processes, business systems, and implement best practices that support project decision makers.

Directs all phases of projects or subsystems of major projects from inception through completion.

Acts as primary project contact to establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives.

Assists customers to develop performance recovery plan and ensure all project control systems are in place to support ongoing support to stakeholders.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in listed location option.This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

3+ years of experience developing and managing governance and leading process improvement.

3+ years of experience following Product Data Management (PDM) systems Configuration Management Process.

3+ years of experience of Project Management.

3+ years of experience with problem solving.

3+ years of experience preparing and coordinating technical documentation (engineering drawings, specifications, statements of work, technical manuals, etc.) and/or experience in business analysis, financial analysis, managerial accounting, or estimating.

3+ years of experience leading and collaborating within multi-disciplinary engineering environment.

3+ years of experience managing and prioritizing multiple projects in support of key milestones and aircraft delivery schedules.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience within a BCA ECS group that had customer introduction work statement.

Experience with writing work statements and/or reading work statements and executing the work.

Experience with Product Data Manager tools PDM and ENOVIA; and associated engineering visualization tool, IVT.

Experience in creating technical process flows and/or documents.

A personality type that strives to understand the “why” behind the task and is willing to speak up when problems are identified.
