Soldering Technician

Description:-Working with prototype team and electrical engineers to build complex circuit board layouts, accompanying wiring and cabling-Identify components using drawings and schematics-Hand solder (surface mount and thru-hole) components to board, sometimes in excess of 500 individual components-Communicate with testing team any anticipated issues to prototype builds throughout assembly process-Run functionality testing, rework areas as needed, troubleshoot to root cause-Maintain an organized work station and inventory of build materialsSkills:-Soldering, surface mount soldering, thru hole, wire crimping, wire harnessing, blueprint, schematics, drawings, Printed Circuit Board, prototypeAdditional Skills & Qualifications:-IPC certification not needed but a plus-Pneumatic Crimpers experience a plusAbout Aerotek:We know that a company's success starts with its employees.
