The Opportunity: Are you a passionate writer looking to drive high impact projects from start to finish for an industry-changing wealth management firm? As a Content Writer in our Corporate Communications group, you will have the opportunity to educate US and international investors through compelling marketing brochures, articles, multimedia, and more. You will report to the Marketing Content Manager and a be part of a close knit team who collaborates with Marketing, PR, Research and others across the firm. Feel rewarded in this challenging opportunity as you help shape Fisher Investments' brand, voice, and deliver financial education across different multimedia channels to prospects and clients. The Day-to-Day:- Take core investment management topics and produce engaging, easy to understand, content for general audiences
- Manage our US and International marketing brochure creation process from ideation to channel delivery and localization
- Research unfamiliar financial topics using online and firm resources
- Edit for clarity, grammar, spelling, consistency and accuracy while following SEO standards
- Work with designers to turn copy into impactful multimedia (e.g. video, infographics, animations)
- Monitor industry news channels for trending topics and make recommendations for new content development
- Work independently and with vendors to draft SEO web copy from scratch
- 3+ years' experience writing copy for a financial services company
- Demonstrated knowledge of investment management concepts including basics on modern portfolio theory, how different asset classes work and the different players in the investment management industry
- SEO writing and Adobe Creative Suite experience preferred
