If you are seeking to work for a medical device company that pioneered point-of-care ultrasound then this opportunity is for you!

As an Engineering Technician you will work with research and development to aid in planning, designing, developing, implementing, and verifying electrical hardware in support of new product introductions. As a member of the electrical engineering team you will provide electrical and mechanical support to the engineers. This will include printed circuit board prototyping, rework, fixturing and testing, managing the EE lab space, test equipment maintenance and calibration, and documentation of tests, rework and assembly instructions.This position will require a person who is, self-starting, self-motivated, and a problem-solving team player able to work with minimal supervision. We will rely on their sound judgment, decision making qualities and forward thinking to rise to meet the challenges of this important work. Other duties as assigned.

Engineering Technician candidates should possess the following requirements:

The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 3-5 years working as an engineering technician. High school Diploma or GED required. Associate’s degree in engineering technology highly desired.Have in depth experience in the troubleshooting of complex circuit boards. Have proven ability to perform board level rework by choosing and utilizing correct tools and methods. Fine pitch surface mount soldering skills (soldering iron 0402 by hand, hot air, ball grid rework station).Experience in designing and fabricating moderately complex test fixtures desired. Moderate mechanical skills to support assembly and disassembly. Read and understand schematic diagrams and assembly/PCBA drawings. Familiarity with Altium, OrCad, PADS desired.
