Ideally, you will be remotely located on the west coast of the US and may be required to travel (once a quarter)Discover Impactful Work:We are looking for an experienced hunter who is familiar with the life sciences industry. Previous experience selling CDMO services is favorable but not mandated. This individual will seek to uncover new opportunities within the specific service areas of the Pharma Services Group. The BDA will work within the territory of multiple Business Development Executives (BDEs) to drive new growth opportunities supporting not only the growth of our division but also enabling our clients to make the world a Healthier Cleaner and Safer place.A day in the Life:

Research, identify and qualify pharmaceutical and biotech companies within the region for fit with PSG services.

Reach out and engage potential client companies with a targeted message about PSG and how we can add value to their project/program

Gain the support of the local BDEs and relevant subject matter experts (SMEs) to discuss possible project opportunities and prepare the internal team with intel and company summaries ahead of scoping calls.

Co-ordinate the establishment of CDAs with new clients and PSG

Work with the BDE to gather information to be able to submit requests for proposals (RFPs) within SalesForce.

Interact with SalesForce, ZymeWire and other internal digital tools to enhance and advance opportunities.

Keys to Success:Education

Bachelor’s degree in a related field, such as pharmaceutics; chemistry or biology. A high school diploma is required.

Equivalent combinations of education, training, and relevant work experience may be considered.

Experience5+ years experience in the life sciences industry with preference given to the pharmaceutical industry including development, commercial or CDMO exposureKnowledge, Skills, Abilities

Dynamic and highly self-motivated individual

Ability to establish and maintain a functional, home office environment to effectively manage assigned responsibilities

Ability to communicate information and new project requirements to enable evaluation and generation of Product proposals by the BDE, Quotations groups and relevant site functions

Manages, updates, maintains and records all relevant activities in the client database (Salesforce.com) for the assigned territory to ensure its data is accurate and current.
