Late Night Shuttle Drivers for Western Washington University are responsible for safely and effectively operating university-owned passenger vans. The Late-Night Shuttle Driver helps facilitate the operation of the University’s late-night shuttle known as the Starlight Shuttle that provides students with a reliable way to get around campus and the community after local bus service ends. This is a professional position within the Transportation Services Department. Daily work duties will include a mix of driving, vehicle servicing, and various other tasks. The driver reports directly to the Shuttle Operations Manager.
The State HR classification for this position is Truck Driver 1. This is a 9-month, 62.5% permanent position. This is a fully benefitted, union represented position.
25 hours per week, hours are 10PM-3AM (9PM-2AM on Sundays) Must be available to work weekends. Drivers are off in the summers, and during Thanksgiving, Winter and Spring breaks
Required Qualifications- 21 years of age, licensed driver for a minimum of 5 years and a clean driving record.
