Growing freight forwarding company located in Blaine, WA has an immediate opening for an experienced pickup/delivery driver.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Direct communication with customers and vendors at pickup/delivery location
Responsible for daily maintenance and vehicle inspections
Ability to operate carts, fork lifts, lift gates, and hand trucks
Must be able to work overtime if required to finish the route
Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience operating a 5 Ton box truck
Possess a valid driver’s license and a good driving record
Possess required documentation for entry into Canada
Employees who are offered a driving position are subject to a DOT physical (at time of hire and every two years after) and a TSA background check
Physical Requirements:
Job requires repeatedly lifting, moving and carrying objects weighing up to 70 lbs
A significant amount of time is spent sitting, climbing in and out of the vehicle, walking and standing
Compensation & Benefits:
Compensation is DOE
