WELDER/FABRICATOR LEVEL II

INDECO is a licensed and bonded general contractor in Ferndale, Washington, concentrating on design and fabrication of all metal types. We offer process engineering, contract manufacturing, CNC (abrasive water jet, milling, routing, and turning), certified welding, powder coating, fabrication, and assembly.

Our company is seeking to add a Full-Time Welder/Fabricator Level II to our team. The Welder/Fabricator is responsible for fabrication and welding of custom metal components and assemblies.

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Safely and independently perform a full range of high-level, complex welding, cutting, forming, and fabrication tasks with minimal supervision.

· Cooperate and problem-solve with team members to ensure optimal productivity, balance priorities, and maintain quality standards.

· Independently operate a variety of welding and fabricating equipment safely and effectively.

· Read, interpret, and follow job drawings, welding symbols, and blueprints to ensure production meets specifications and/or quality control analysis.

· Report accidents, resolve safety issues, and report potential issues.

· Use a forklift to safely move materials.

QUALIFICATIONS · 3-5 Years of Professional Welding & Fabrication Experience:

o TIG, MIG, and Flux.

o Stainless Steel, Mild Steel, and Aluminum.

o Independent Start-to-Finish Fabrication, Building, and Assembly.

· Ability to read and interpret blueprints and product specifications to independently build/fabricate based on those specifications.

· Must be able to fit, weld, and assemble projects independently from blueprints.

· WABO or AWS Certified.

· Reliable transportation and valid driver license.

· Excellent communication skills including written and verbal.

· Excellent interpersonal skills.

· Strong attention to detail.

· Basic math skills and strong mechanical knowledge.

· Ability to adhere to strict confidentiality requirements.

· US Citizenship.

· Negative pre-employment drug screen.

BODY POSITIONING & ENVIRONMENT

· Full range of motion: standing, bending, kneeling, while working in various positions.

· Able to safely lift up to 50 pounds.

· Metal fabrication shop environment may include dust, vibration, and loud noise.

SCHEDULE

· Schedule is "four tens" Monday through Thursday 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM.

· Overtime is available during high volume seasons.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

· $28.00 to $35.00 per hour.
