Primo Fabrication currently has an opening for a full-time Welder/ Fabricator to join our team. Ideal candidates will have previous experience with stainless TIG welding, a team attitude, and a focus on safety.

Days and hours of work are Monday through Thursday, 6:30am to 5:00pm, 40 hrs. a week. Additional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Fabricators operate fabricating machines such as cutoff saws, shears, rolls, brakes, presses, forming machines, spinning machines and punches that cut, shape and bend metal plates, sheets, tubes and structures by performing the following duties below.

Responsibilities
Perform welding, grinding, cutting, drilling, punching, layout, bending, shearing, color cleaning, assembly, and machining
Read shop prints and take verbal directions
Ensure all fabrication is correct dimensionally, functionally, and quantity
Keep a clean and organized work area
Perform all tasks safely and follow the safety guidelines and policies
Communicate well with supervisors and co-workers
Project install and on-site work
Help co-workers on project details and questions
Perform overtime as requested
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at job sites. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.
Physical Demands
Be able to properly communicate in a noisy work area
Be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl and climb for long periods of time throughout the day
Be able to lift 50 pounds
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED diploma, or three to six months’ related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Fabrication certificate received from trade school preferred.
Two to three years’ work experience in fabricating shop preferred.
Ability to work accurately in a fast pace environment.
Good organization, scheduling, and time management skills.
Comfortable quality checking work to minimize mistakes and errors.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Be able to work as a team and work alone as needed.
