About the Position
IMCO is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Small Tool and Facility Maintenance Technician to ensure our tools, equipment, and facilities' proper functioning, safety, and upkeep. This position plays a vital role in minimizing downtime by performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs on hand tools, power tools, and general facility systems.

Compensation and Benefits:
The starting pay is $30 per hour. More possible depending on experience and certifications.

- Responsibilities

Inspect, maintain, and repair small tools (e.g., drills, saws, grinders, pneumatic tools).
Basic facility maintenance tasks include plumbing, lighting, minor carpentry, and painting.
Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment and systems.
Ensure proper storage, inventory, and tracking of tools and maintenance supplies.
Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.
Keep maintenance logs and documentation up to date.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Collaborate with team members to identify and resolve facility or equipment issues.
Ensure compliance with company safety standards and local codes.
Location and Commitments
Location – Ferndale, Washington
Travel to various construction project sites and/or company offices within reason
Full-time - 8–10-hour shifts
Evening/weekend work may be necessary to meet milestones.
Requirements and Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
2+ years of experience in general maintenance or tool repair preferred.
Familiarity with hand and power tools, mechanical systems, and basic electrical work.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks as needed.
Good communication and time management skills.
Able to obtain a DOT medical card.
Current and valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record capable of maintaining an insurable driving record.
CDL is Plus
Enrolment in a drug-free workplace program is required. This is a safety-sensitive position requiring THC in testing panels – including pre-employment drug screening.
A criminal background check is required; one must be able to pass security clearance requirements for select projects.
