Salary: $25.00-$40.00/hour DOE

The Sheet Metal Worker requires experience working with steel erection/sheet metal applications. Other aspects of commercial / industrial building construction experience is a plus.
Education & Experience:
o Experience planning, laying out, assembling, installing and repairing steel building parts and products.
o Knowledge of sheet metal/steel building trades, practices, procedures, techniques, tools and equipment, materials, specifications, quality control
o Ability to utilize appropriate math skills
o 3-5 years’ minimum experience
o High School Diploma or equivalent
Qualifications:
o Ability to read and follow blueprints and job specifications
o Competent with safety protocol
o Must be reliable, punctual, and a team player
o Must have a valid Driver's License
o Must be enthusiastic toward work, and willing and able to apply new techniques and methods for productivity and time management
o Ability to work in a fast paced environment while maintaining attention to detail, quality and professionalism
o Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously - must be detail oriented and flexible
Physical Ability:
o Able to perform tasks for all aspects of a construction project including lifting and carrying up to 80 lbs for 50 ft, climbing a ladder, working in various weather conditions including heat and cold, and crawling up to 50 ft.
The Sheet Metal Worker is considered a safety-sensitive position. Safety-sensitive positions are required to complete a pre-employment drug screening, including marijuana. Additionally, Faber Construction performs work on various federally funded jobs, requiring our workplace to be drug-free based on the Drug-free Workplace Act of 1988. All employees may be subject to additional drug screenings for random, reasonable suspicion, post-accident, and return to work.
