Skilled Carpenter/ Experienced Handy Person
We are seeking 2 experienced skilled carpenters for our residential restoration department. We are a locally owned and independent, water restoration company that seeks candidates for a tradesman position.
We are a full-service restoration company specializing in water damage and restoration services.
We are located in Bellingham, Washington and service the Whatcom County.
This position is responsible for assisting customers with the restoration of their home after water damage. We would prefer 5+ years’ experience in residential remodeling including finish carpentry, hardwood or laminate flooring installation, drywall installation, painting, framing, cabinet, and trim work, plus misc. handyman skills.
Job Duties:
Work and interact with project manager to complete projects as assigned.
Create supply lists and forecast project needs
Safely and efficiently use power tools as well as hand tools.
Lift, carry, and push heavy items (up to 60 pounds).
Assist other team members as needed.
Maintain accurate paperwork.
Carry out written and verbal instructions.
Other duties as assigned
Create a safe, professional work environment for team members, clients, and the public.
Interact with customers in a polite, professional manner
Do finish carpentry, hardwood or laminate flooring installation, window and door installation, framing, cabinet and
trim work, plus misc. handyman skills, be willing to learn new skills
Create supply lists
Interact with project manager and forecast project needs.
Pay and Benefits:
Competitive Pay depending on experience (DOE). Hourly plus bonuses

The ideal candidate will have:
Experience: 5+ years’ residential remodeling experience required
Experience with finish work, flooring, base board casing, & fine cabinetry
Have reliable transportation, a Washington driver’s license, and a cell phone
Clean appearance and good hygiene as we are in customers’ homes and businesses
Detail Driven with a Positive attitude & willingness to learn
Be on time to jobs, punctuality is crucial
A current driver's license and a clean driving record
Has own hand and power tools
Able to proficiently communicate in English; both verbally and written
Takes ownership of projects and has pride in a job well done with a strong work ethic
Ability to work as part of a team and independently with problem solving abilities
Be friendly and professional with all customers, vendors, and fellow members of our team
