Job Description – Full time Carpenter/Lead Carpenter
Homesource is hiring a Lead Carpenter with 3-5 years of experience in residential construction to run projects in the field. The work includes new construction, remodels, additions, renovations, decks and pergolas, and other medium to large residential construction projects. This will start as a full time carpenter position with the possibility of transitioning to lead-carpenter over time. We are looking for someone who is skilled in the construction trades as well as friendly and trustworthy with a high degree of integrity.

Responsibilities
Create a safe, professional work environment for team members, clients, and the public
Communicate with homeowners with kindness and respect while treating their homes with the same care
Perform all aspects of carpentry from framing to finish in a timely manner, and attention to detail and quality
Understand and respect work safety guidelines
Safely and efficiently use power tools including chop saws, drills, table saws, and hand tools
Lift, carry, and push heavy items (up to 60 lbs)
Assist other team members as needed
Requirements
At least 3+ years of carpentry experience including running jobs
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
Strong record of jobsite safety, happy clients, and great communication
Ability to pass a drug test; Homesource Residential Services is a drug free workplace
Strong preferences (not required)
5+ years experience in residential remodeling, window and door installation, framing, cabinetry, and finish trim work.
Provide general construction hand tools (tool belt, hammer, tape measure, pencil, nail puller, speed square, level, chalk line, etc)
Reliable vehicle with ability to haul tools and small amounts of construction materials.
Basic plumbing and electrical experience
Read blueprints and plans
Customer service experience
Safety certifications (OSHA 40, first aid, CPR, etc)
Schedule
Monday – Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm
Pay
$30 -$40 per hour depending on experience.
