Lairmont Manor is seeking housekeeper(s)
We are in search of weekday and weekend housekeepers for the Manor House. This involves cleaning all of the interior of entry ways, main hall, large spaces, 5 restrooms, a large kitchen, entrances, side rooms, storage and public use spaces.
This person will follow our checklist of housekeeping standards for weekend deep cleaning which includes: Sanitizing, vacuuming, sweeping, polishing, dusting, cleaning tables/chairs, washing windows and similar.
Manor cleaning happens in the morning daily before events begin and guests arrive or during day when no events are planned. The ability to quickly set up and take down tables and chairs per the instruction of our venue coordinator is a plus.
There is an additional cleaning position available at a nearby residential home if more hours are desired.
We may hire a full-time person or multiple people to cover the days depending on schedules.
Ideal Candidate:
Available and reliable early on weekend mornings
Is flexible with scheduled shifts
Has the ability to lift 30lbs and move quickly
Likes to deep clean and pays attention to detail and notices ways to improve.
Is kind and respectful to staff and guests
Has a can-do, get the job done well attitude
Can be friendly, and also respect privacy and avoid drama.
