Job Description:

In Bellingham’s picturesque Fairhaven District, the love of nature meets the pursuit of perfect beauty in our gallery which features over 50 breathtaking photography prints of Washington State’s peak moments. We are in search of a dedicated individual to join our Bellingham team to support our expansion into a second gallery location in Leavenworth, WA. We take immense pride in our commitment to detail and our high standards of work and service. We value those who have a penchant for precision, excel in communication, exhibit swift responsiveness, and uphold a systematic approach to tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

Gallery Host and Art Consultant:

Undertake the essential responsibilities of opening, closing, and appearance upkeep duties within the gallery space.

Create a welcoming, warm, and relaxed atmosphere for guests, making them feel at home.

Educate and guide clients about Metal Prints, Mockups and Ordering, and the intricacies of Peter's photographic process.

When appropriate, help clients narrow down their choices and come to conclusions.

Talk with guests to generate leads and input them into our lead tracking system Hubspot, accompanied by detailed notes.

Complete transactions for in-stock and custom Metal Print orders in QuickBooks Online (QBO) and enter the orders on the Order Tracking cloud document.

Enter mailing list emails into Wix.

Follow Ups and Mockups to Convert Bellingham and Leavenworth Leads:

Diligently follow up on Hubspot leads to acquire Wall Photos for mockups.

In Photoshop, use Wall Photos to create mockups demonstrating how the artwork looks on the client’s walls.

Demonstrate a keen eye for interior design when determining sizes, placement, drop shadows, and images to present.

Deliver mockups or proposals with impeccable attention to detail.

Maintain ongoing follow-ups on Mockups.

Leverage your experience and comfort in sales communication to effectively engage with clients and close deals.

Enter Metal Print orders in QBO and take payments over the phone or by pay link, then meticulously enter details in the Order Tracking document.

Order Fulfillment:

Manage order fulfillment for orders from both galleries.

Follow steps in the Order Tracking Doc to execute order processing and tracking.

Place orders with photo labs.

Execute tasks with methodical organization and systematic precision.

Social Media:

Prepare and post Peter’s images and other content to Instagram and Facebook.

Note: Our rate of growth is unknown but, after you have been moved to full time, as the workload further increases, we plan to hire more team members to assist with Follow Ups, Mockups, Order Fulfillment, and/or Social Media here in Bellingham. To start, you will be in charge of these tasks, with the assistance of both Peter and his wife iMa.

Qualifications:

A passion for nature, beauty, and art.

Prior experience in retail, sales, or a gallery setting preferred.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in using basic computer applications and preferably Quickbooks Online.

Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop.

An approachable, friendly demeanor with a proactive attitude.

Must be outgoing and assertive with people and also happy when working alone.

Must be seeking a long-term position and want to grow with our gallery for years to come.

Will need to be available to work every Saturday and Sunday

Compensation:

$22.50 per hour during orientation and training period of first 3 months, followed by $25 per hour to start.

Team Sales Commissions.
