HAVEN Design Workshop, a dynamic, Client focused Architecture firm based in the Bellingham area, is looking for an experienced Office Manager who can perform bookkeeping and payroll tasks as well as welcome and handle client interaction. An ideal candidate would have a great attitude, be highly motivated, detail oriented as well as being a team player that works well independently, and have 3-5 years of experience.

As an Office Manager, there's an opportunity to work a scheduled 32-40 hour week. As an Architecture firm, we strive to work closely with our Clients to create great projects that reflect their desired outcome, and interactions with an excellent office manager are integral to that process. In Bellingham, you will also be close to great areas for mountain biking, kayaking, snowsports and many other activities and about 90 minutes from both Seattle, WA and Vancouver,BC. When we can, we like to get out as an office to enjoy the outdoors, whether that’s on a mountain bike ride, competing in Ski to Sea, or a friendly pickleball tournament.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with Payroll and Bookkeeping
- Experience with Quickbooks and/or Quickbooks Online
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Bookkeeping & Payroll
- Client Interaction & Intake
- Writing Project Proposals
- Organizing Office Events
- Help maintain a smooth-running office for 6-10 colleagues
- Answering phones, opening & closing office
ADDITIONAL VALUABLE SKILLS
- Marketing
- Understanding of construction and/or interest in architecture and design
- Google suites – Docs, Sheets, Gmail, Calendar, etc.
- Affinity/ Adobe - Photo, Designer, & Publisher/ Photoshop, Illustrator & InDesign
- Familiar with Social Media and understands how to get our message to others

Wage commensurate with location, qualifications, & experience. Starting wages at $21-27/hour.
