Job Title: Machine Operator
Job Functions:
The Machine Operator will be responsible for the following tasks:
Set up, operate and adjust chain making machines in accordance with established procedures.
Observe machine operation during cycling.
Take appropriate action to protect materials and equipment from damages.
Check chain after fabrication to ensure finished parts meet required specifications.
Perform related duties as necessary and/or directed.
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:
The position requires the following skills and capabilities:
Desire to take on increasing responsibilities
Self-motivated with ability to work independently
Willingness to work on multiple tasks with changing priorities
Ability to work well with others
Mechanically inclined with ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to read, write and perform math to generate timely and accurate documentation
Must pass a pre-employment drug/physical screening and background check
Desirable Qualifications & Skill sets:
Experience in a manufacturing environment and mechanical aptitude desirable
Experience with welding, metal machining practices, and heat treatment is a plus
Compensation:
Full-time position/Day Shift 7:00am to 3:30pm/Swing Shift 3:30pm to 12:00am
Wage Starting at $24.00 hour plus shift differential for swing.
