Position: Canning Line Lead
Schedule: Full Time Position, Tuesday - Friday 6AM-4PM, Occasional Overtime Needed
Reports to: Head Brewer
Education Requirement: No formal education required
Work Experience: Previous packaging line experience required, experience on a brewery packaging line preferred.
Compensation: $22 - $27 per hour depending on experience, Medical Insurance, Paid Time Off, Paid Sick Leave, 6 Paid Holidays, SIMPLE IRA plan, monthly beer benefits, and annual merchandise gift card. Vision, dental, and accident coverage available at employee’s expense, at a group rate.
Kulshan is seeking a hard working individual to fill a full-time Packaging Line Lead position at our production facility. Our ideal candidate is someone who has experience as a Packaging Line Lead, is passionate about craft beer, a team oriented individual, and accustomed to physical labor.
The Packaging Line Lead job responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Be the lead operator of our Wild Goose WGC-250 can filling machine. We fill 12 oz. cans, either labeled cans into 6-pack Paktech holders or printed cans into 6-pack or 12-pack cartons.
Ensure that the canning line is properly maintained and that sufficient spare parts are in stock.
Maintain accurate and up to date documentation of packaging activities.
Work with the warehouse lead to ensure that the proper volumes of each of our canned beers are being filled.
Inventory, storage and organization of packaging supplies.
Prepping and staging work space as needed (moving pallets, organizing, etc.).
Work efficiently and safely to ensure the final product is packaged and stored properly.
Fill kegs of draft beer when needed.
Train others on the operation of the canning line as needed.
Oversee QAQC of our canned beer, including taking daily dissolved oxygen readings, as well as running seam checks to ensure the integrity of our cans.
