Food Production/Kitchen Worker (part time, 1-2 days week, between 8-16 hours available)
DESCRIPTION:
Food Production/Kitchen Worker (part time). This individual will be involved in the entire processing of food product. They will weigh, cook, package, label, stack and box product. They will be using tape guns, box cutters, scales, ovens and bag sealers. The employer is willing to train the right candidate.
The key characteristics of the ideal candidate will be an individual who has good manual dexterity and eye / hand coordination. They will be able to work independently as well as part of a team. Employer requires someone with food handler permit and prefers related experience.
WAGE
Wage of $18.00 per hour. After 6 months $20.00 per hour.
Pays one time monthly.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
-Possess food handler permit
-Must have good basic math and counting skills
-Speak, read, write and understand English (to communicate with vendors, supervisors and co-workers)
-Ability to provide personal references
-Demonstrate physical ability to perform job duties which will include lifting up to 30 pounds on a regular basis.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
-Related food production experience
-Ability to lift 30 pounds and carry for 30 feet frequently
HOURS / DAYS / SCHEDULE:
Hours of work are Weekdays, typically 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. However, specific shifts and hours may vary depending on employer need.
SALARY / WAGE / BENEFITS:
Wage of $18.00 per hour. After 6 months $20.00 per hour.
