Schedule: Full Time Position, Tuesday - Friday 40hrs/week, Occasional Overtime Needed
Reports to: Head Brewer
Education Requirement: High School diploma / GED
Age: 21 or above
Compensation: $20 per hour. Medical Insurance, Paid Time Off, Paid Sick Leave, 6 Paid Holidays, SIMPLE IRA plan, monthly beer benefits, and biannual merchandise gift cards. Vision, dental, and accident coverage available at employee’s expense, at a group rate. Insurance will be effective October 1st for this position.
Kulshan is seeking a hard working individual to fill a full-time Keg Washer / Production Assistant position at our production facility. Our ideal candidate is someone who is passionate about craft beer, has previously worked in a warehouse setting, a team oriented individual, and accustomed to physical labor. Previous experience working in a brewery is not required.
General Descriptors of position:
Position Summary: Entry level position directly responsible for keg washing, as well as assisting in stocking Kulshan locations with kegged and canned beer, and helping with general brewery cleaning and organization.
Keg Washing:
- Set-up Keg washer with proper chemical protocols
- Clean keg shells according to production needs and Standard Operating Procedures
Keg Yard:
- Overall management of keg storage, organization and inventory
- Maintain a clean and orderly environment
Other:
- Ability to work overtime as needed.
- Assist in stocking Kulshan retail locations with kegs and cans.
- Canning line: As needed, assist the Canning Lead on the canning line, primarily collecting 6-packs or 12-packs from the end of the line and palletizing them.
- Set up K2 brewery / parking lot for special events.
- Wash growlers as needed.
- Assist in general brewery cleaning / organization.

- Ability to frequently sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl and climb.

- Ability to frequently reach with hands and arms. Use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls.
- Vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and the ability to adjust focus.
