## Position: Lead Carpenter

### Position Summary:

The Lead Carpenter is responsible for executing and overseeing all on-site construction tasks related to residential remodeling projects. This includes structural and finish carpentry, job site supervision, team leadership, and coordination with project managers and subcontractors. The Lead Carpenter plays a key role in maintaining quality control, project timelines, and client satisfaction.

### Daily Responsibilities:

Review construction drawings, project specifications, and daily objectives.

Plan daily workflow and assign tasks to laborers and apprentices.

Perform high-level carpentry tasks, including:

Structural framing and layout

Load-bearing modifications

Window and door installation

Cabinetry, trim, and detailed finish work

Supervise and train field staff; ensure workmanship meets company standards.

Communicate regularly with the project manager regarding schedule, progress, and any issues or changes.

Maintain a safe, clean, and organized job site, ensuring tools and materials are stored securely.

Enforce safety practices and personal protective equipment (PPE) use.

Assist in coordinating material deliveries, inspections, and subcontractor activities.

### Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years of residential carpentry experience, including 2 years in a supervisory role.

Proficient in blueprint reading, layout, and construction math.

Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Extensive knowledge of framing, finish carpentry, and job site sequencing.

Familiarity with local building codes and residential remodeling practices.

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

## Position: Construction Laborer

### Position Summary:

The Construction Laborer assists carpenters and other tradespeople on residential remodeling job sites. Responsibilities include site setup and cleanup, demolition, material handling, and supporting construction activities. This is a hands-on role suitable for individuals looking to grow in the construction field through on-the-job experience.

### Daily Responsibilities:

Arrive on time and assist with job site preparation, including unloading materials and setting up tools.

Perform demolition of walls, flooring, cabinetry, and other building components.

Keep the worksite clean, safe, and organized throughout the day.

Assist carpenters with measurements, layout, material cutting, and framing support.

Operate basic hand and power tools under supervision.

Run errands to pick up tools, materials, or equipment as requested.

Follow safety protocols, wear proper PPE, and report unsafe conditions immediately.

Help with daily cleanup and secure the job site at the end of each workday.

### Qualifications:

0–2 years of construction experience preferred (training available for motivated individuals).

Ability to lift 50 lbs, perform repetitive physical tasks, and work in various weather conditions.

Basic knowledge of tools and construction processes is helpful.

Willingness to learn and take direction from supervisors.

Dependable with a strong work ethic and team-first attitude.

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.
