Responsibilities will include mapping, leveling, and control projects; assisting with monument perpetuation and record maintenance; and providing survey data to the local surveying community. Survey Technician performs a range of technical engineering support duties, including surveying, research, and data maintenance assignments in support of the City's mapping, survey monumentation, and survey records programs. Uses a variety of surveying equipment and programs including total stations, levels, Global Positioning Systems (GPS), and other survey related sources to locate, inventory, verify, and correct information to improve the quality and integrity of the data for the City's Geographic Information System (GIS).
3 Month Seasonal - 2025 Season June 30 to October 3, 2025.
This position will start at Step 1 ($28.84/hour). Employees receive step increases on completion of 2080 hours in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement and City policy. The full hourly range for this position is $28.84 - $35.24.
