Breadfarm is a thriving artisan bakery in Edison, WA, crafting naturally leavened breads and European-inspired pastries since 2003. We’re proud to source local and organic ingredients, support our farmers and schools, and nourish our community through both retail and wholesale baking.
Now, we’re looking for a full-time Production Pastry person with at least 2 years of commercial bakery experience to join our tight-knit team. If you’ve got professional pastry experience, we’ll prioritize your application.
What You’ll Do:
Work a consistent 6am–2pm schedule, with weekend availability required
Mix, shape, proof, and bake viennoiserie and pastries to high standards
Keep your station clean, organized, and efficient
Collaborate with a supportive crew—good communication is key
Maintain production records and complete assigned prep tasks with care
And yes, smile and have fun doing what you love
Who You Are:
You bring 2+ years of hands-on pastry production experience
You understand the nuances of laminated dough, proofing, and baking
You move with purpose in a busy kitchen and stay calm under pressure
You communicate clearly, stay organized, and care deeply about quality
You can lift 50 lbs and hold a current WA Food Handler’s permit
