We are seeking a Hospitality & Operations Director to join our fine dining team, working closely with our Chef-led kitchen to create
seamless, memorable guest experiences while ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reservations and guest communications.
- Ordering and inventory management (in collaboration with Chef).
- Hosting, serving, bussing, and floor leadership.
- Special event management (membership wine events, private bookings).
- Human resources management (hiring, scheduling, training, team leadership).
- Community outreach and building local partnerships.
- Marketing and social media support.
- Restaurant IT and systems management (POS, OpenTable, etc).
Required Qualifications:
- Previous experience managing front-of-house operations in a restaurant setting.
- Strong organizational and communication skills with a hands-on leadership style.
- Knowledge of wine service and fine dining.
- Ability to anticipate guest needs and maintain a gracious, welcoming environment.
- Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in destination dining and hospitality.
- Familiarity with Washington's wine culture and community networks.
- Social marketing and media management skills.
Compensation:
Full-time, hourly + tips, with profit sharing as performance milestones are achieved (1, 3, and 6 months).
Compensation commensurate with experience, with opportunities for growth.
