The Bellingham Moose Lodge is looking for a part-time bartender.
Job Requirements and Responsibilities:
Provides a pleasant drinking experience to customers.
Serves drinks while maintaining a clean and sanitary bar area.
Attends to the detail and presentation of each order.
Adheres to proper alcohol handling, sanitation, and safety procedures, and maintains appropriate dating, labeling, and rotation of all beverage items.
Completes cleaning according to daily and weekly schedules, including dish washing as needed.
Assists with orienting new employees to their work area.
Listens to customer complaints and suggestions and resolves complaints.
Prepares and serves bar appetizers.
Must be available for Friday Evening shifts 4-close and other shifts as needed.
Position requires a current Washington State Class 12 permit and a current Washington State Food Worker card. If you do not hold either, we can assist you, but only as an unpaid volunteer/intern.
