Method Homes is in search of a Design Assistant to contribute to the growth of our business specializing in designing, constructing, and selling bespoke, enduring, sustainably built, prefabricated modular homes.
We seek a candidate who has a creative, problem solving approach, yet can adapt to modular constraints and collaborate effectively with our Architecture, Design, and Factory teams, as well as outside consultants and contracting partners to produce internal and client facing interior design materials, including schedules, presentations, drawings, etc. The ideal candidate is energetic, professional, articulate, and possesses knowledge of residential design and construction.

Knowledge and Skills Requirements:
- Strong organizational and communication skills with clients and teammates
- Previous experience with InDesign, Bluebeam, Revit, Enscape, and Excel strongly preferred
- Previous architecture/interiors/construction experience, and knowledge of the custom home-building industry and project documentation strongly preferred
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative and clerical support to Design and Factory teams
- Welcome visitors and maintain reception area
- Manage social media
- Assist in preparing client facing design presentations/mood boards
- Draw 2D/3D renderings, digital or hand sketches, to communicate design ideas
- Focus on interior elevations and specifications
- Work closely with Interior Design and Specifications Manager on all design phases
- Coordinate with design consultants and the Architectural team
- Communicate with vendors to request product information, samples, and recruit quotes
- Attend relevant client meetings
- Assist with interior specification documentation and formatting
This position is full time and reports directly to the Specifications and Interior Design Manager.
Wage Scale: $22.00 to $25.00/hr ($45,760 to $52,000 annual)
