Duties
- Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for civil construction projects.
- Review project plans, specifications, and other documents to determine project requirements.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to gather necessary information for estimating purposes.
- Analyze project scope and identify potential risks or issues that may impact cost estimates.
- Report on projects to the stakeholders, and offer leadership to the administrative project team.
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil project management and 4 years of experience as a civil project estimator
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques
- Experience with project coordination and management processes
- Solid work ethic and ownership of projects
- Ability to perform accurate quantity takeoffs and cost calculations
- Excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines
Please note that this is not an entry-level position. Qualified candidates should have prior experience in civil project estimation. Applicants without experience in civil construction will not be considered.
