King Architecture is seeking a talented and motivated Architect/Project Manager & Architectural Drafter to join our dynamic team in Bellingham, WA.

King Architecture is an established architectural firm, located in the Historic Fairhaven district of Bellingham. Our firm predominantly specializes in institutional project design (K-12, Higher Ed and Municipal/Civic projects). We are looking to expand and are seeking additional staff with a variety of levels of expertise and experience. Competitive compensation and benefits available.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, goals, and visions for projects
Develop architectural designs that are innovative, functional, and aesthetically pleasing
Prepare and present design proposals, including 3D models, renderings, and drawings
Coordinate with engineering and construction teams to ensure designs are feasible and meet regulatory requirements
Oversee the implementation of design plans throughout the construction process
Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to design specifications
Stay current with industry trends, materials, and technologies to inform design decisions
Requirements:
Architect/project Manager - B-Arch or M-Arch and Registered Architect preferred (WA)
Architect / Project Manager - Licensed Architect in the state of Washington, or eligible for licensure
Architect/Project Manager - Minimum of 6 years of experience in architectural design and project management with the ability to work independently on projects throughout all design and construction administration phases
Technical understanding of construction and detailing
Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD required
Strong and effective communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills with clients and team members
Experience with Institutional, Civic and K-12 projects preferred
