Come and play with us We have a beautiful campus with a multitude of colorful spaces to explore. Indoor and Outdoor Learning environments created with the intention of inspiring a thirst for learning. Our Fun Facilitators work in a team while each tending to a different learning environment. Our ratios are 8 to 1 with support that feels like 5 to 1.
We have 3 weeks a year that we are closed allowing for a break and period to refresh. 8 paid days a year for wellness.
We are looking for employees willing to commit a year with us at least To gain a sense of belonging to this little school along with the little ones who are with us now and in the future
The skill set needed to be a facilitator of one of our Learning Environments will include, the ability to be Creative, to be Patience, to be able to adapt , to be empathetic, and most of all the ability to do all of this at onceMultitasking and working towards several goals at one time Tending to environments , suggesting possibilities, augmenting the learning, modeling communication and social navigation. Changing the world by Modeling behavior Worthy of imitating.
Our Team practices and models Non-Violent Communication Which we will train our new team members when they join us The Goal of each of our Team Members is to enjoy Creating a thirst for learning and supporting the development of strong social and emotional skills for Children who come to a Little Darling School.
Required for employment: First Aid and Infant CPR, Blood Born Pathogen, TB Test, Criminal Background Check through DCYF of Washington and Early Childhood Basic Certification. All of these we can support you in completing.
Our wages depends on experience and leave room to grow We have a Team Meeting every other week paid which is required to attend. 6:00-8:00 on Wednesday evenings.
