We are looking for a stellar individual who is seeking a career in the wedding and events industry. This is an opportunity to experience the operations behind-the-scene on how to lead and manage weddings and events in a warehouse setting. As a key member of our team, you play a critical role in ensuring the success of our customers’ special celebrations.
The Warehouse Prep Associate will carry out various tasks in our busy rental warehouse. You will be responsible for the accurate prepping, counting, cleaning and restocking of rental linens and inventory to ensure client orders are fulfilled. Please note that this is primarily not a creative role. This position is perfect for an individual who is highly organized, clean and attentive; values customer service; learns quickly; possesses time management and problem-solving skills; initiative taker; positive can-do attitude; takes pride in their work; and ability to take direction well. Previous experience in a customer service capacity and dealing with the public in-person is necessary; training will teach you everything you need to know to succeed in the position.
This position is a contract position. Our busiest season is summer, so you must be able to commit to working all scheduled shifts through our busy season from mid-June to August. The hours are Mondays to Fridays from 9AM-2PM, with some flexibility, with about 20 hours per week. No call outs. Must be reliable and dependable.
Job Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years of age
Possess dependable cellular phone with internet access and text capability
Must have reliable transportation
Ability to maintain regular and punctual attendance – must report on-time for all scheduled shifts
Physical ability to perform manual work associated with warehouse duties including lifting 25 lbs.
Proficient in using and operating equipment and machines
Can maintain patience and order while multi-tasking in a busy environment
Basic math skills
Time management skills
Maintaining a safe, clean and organized work environment
Strong accuracy, strong organizational skills and attention to detail required
Strong work ethic with minimal supervision – work hard quickly and efficiently, independently
Desire to work independently and as part of a team
Friendly demeanor
