Leasing Assistant – Property Management

25-40 Hours Per Week

Starting wage $20 - 22/hour - Depending on experience.

Location: Bellingham, WA

We are a local apartment management company seeking the right person to join our team. Experience in the industry is desirable but not mandatory, we are willing to train the right person. If you have experience in sales or customer service and have an eye for detail, this could be the right place for you.

Office hours are 9AM – 5PM Monday through Friday, 12-4 on Saturdays. We are looking for someone who is available for a full shift on Mondays, and between the hours of 1PM and 5PM Tuesday through Friday.

JOB DUTIES:

This position will involve marketing, giving tours and renting apartments, so sales experience is a big plus.

The successful applicant will be in a customer facing position, answering phones and taking care of people who come to the office in person. Strong customer service skills are essential.

This position is responsible for records management, payment processing, data entry, and related tasks. We primarily use Microsoft Office Suite. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are very important. Administrative experience is desirable.

REQUIREMENTS:

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Able to pass a background check.

Must be able to climb stairs in order to give tours and complete tenant move in procedure.

Fluent in written and spoken English.

Able to communicate with customers in person and on the phone.

Able to work at least 25 hours per week.

Must be reliable, punctual, and have a good work ethic.

Must follow all company’s policies and procedures.
