DescriptionGlobal Customer Fulfillment (GCF) Central Functions Finance provides optimized, effective, and timely analysis to drive the Fulfillment Center dual charter of lower cost and faster delivery. We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst on our finance team that will help provide analytical support varying between macro level strategic issues with our Steam business partner, to micro level crisp financial analyses that indicate go/no-go recommendations on specific capacity and savings projects. Our partner teams include GCF supply chain and capacity, Amazon Customer Excellence Systems (ACES), Fulfillment by Amazon, and our FP&A team supports the entire GCF organization.This position partners with our Global Customer Fulfillment (GCF) Amazon Customer Excellence (ACES). The team supports Consumer Fulfillment by managing cross functional projects that address complex challenges with elegant solutions through partnership with our tech teams. GCF ACES consistently focuses on customer experience (speed, selection and cost) by supporting the field operators through projects focused on system driven decision making, operator tool optimization and process transformation. GCF ACES serves as an innovation engine and works with incredibly talented teams and cutting edge technology!The person in this role will support various leaders in this group providing financial insight and leadership. The role will function in a controllership capacity managing overall spend, investment ask, review and execution. In addition, the role will partner on strategic initiatives as the network scales in size to eliminate execution risk and improve cost efficiency. Partner with your team and develop all weekly and monthly financial close activities, all planning, forecasting, and reporting models while overseeing their continuous innovation and communication to both your operations & other business partners

Work with data source providers and technology teams to ensure that key decision data is accurate, automated and timely.

Manage and participate in finance and accounting activities across several locations.

Promote recruiting efforts across the network to continually hire and develop the best

Recommend, develop, and implement policies and programs that guide the organization in maintaining and improving its competitive position and profitability

Create a “learn by doing” environment by engaging with on-the-floor associates and managers to promote and encourage continued customer focus

Basic Qualifications

3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field

Preferred Qualifications

3+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience

Knowledge of Tableau

Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)

The base pay for this position ranges from $60,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $128,800/year in our highest geographic market.
