Payroll / Accounts Payable Specialist

Description We have an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented Payroll and Accounts Payable Specialist. This is a contract-to-hire role which will be instrumental in handling our payroll and accounts payable duties. You will be collaborating with our team in ensuring that our payroll and accounts payable processes are accurate, timely, and in compliance with industry standards.Responsibilities: Coordination, preparation, and processing of payroll for both US and international employees in an accurate and timely manner. Acquire and sustain an in-depth understanding of labor laws for payroll requirement compliance. Review and reconcile payroll tax filings periodically. Assist with accounts payable tasks such as processing vendor invoices, payment requests, employee expense reimbursements, and corporate credit card transactions. Enter relevant information related to accounts payable in the ERP system. Reconcile vendor statements with processed invoices and assist in resolving discrepancies. Help maintain vendor data in the ERP system. Communicate efficiently with both employees and external contacts as required. Make recommendations for workflow and process improvements. Perform administrative duties and other tasks as assigned.Requirements Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's, AA, or AS degree in accounting. 1-3 years of payroll processing experience. Prior experience with ADP is particularly valuable. Strong communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively across departmental functions. Ability to meet deadlines under pressure. Problem-solving skills, with the ability to address and resolve issues promptly.
