We are looking for a candidate who can coach team leads and consult to clients to guide them in their agile journey to implement a modern ERP platform. CGI anticipates accepting applications for this position through June 30, 2024.Your future duties and responsibilities:The Technical Lead will be responsible for supporting the teams doing analysis, design and implementation of technical and architecture solutions based on CGI s Advantage ERP solution. The candidate will support clients by developing solutions to their technical issues using their requirements. Also, the candidate will create and apply data-driven plans to identify opportunities to improve quality. The Technical Lead will ensure that project design, delivery timelines, and delivery follow the agreement. This role will be part time with a commitment of 20 hours weekly.Core Responsibilities: Team and Project Leadership Recommend/design structure and tools for systems which meet business needs Provide estimates, communicate system requirements to development team and review the work of developers Coaching CGI, Client and partner consultants on project delivery Promote standards across the project team Work closely with the client and business analyst to ensure business and technical needs are met and additional needs are identified Apply concepts and best practices for designing, coding, testing and implementing application software that is delivered on time and within budget Support the team in troubleshooting technical issues, solution and drive resolution on issues Keep track of emerging technologies and developmentsRequired qualifications to be successful in this role: A minimum of 5 years CGI Advantage ERP team management experience A minimum of 10 years relevant Technical Architect experience 4+ years of with software development and system administration experience Experience in project management Experience in service-oriented architecture (SOA) Knowledge of selected coding languages (e.g. JavaScript, Java) Familiarity with various operating systems (e.g. Windows, UNIX) and databases (e.g. SQL Server, Oracle) Demonstrated understanding of current trends in software development, architecture, and integration in other systems (eg. Cloud, Automation, APIs, DevOps, Mobile) Database Engineering, development of CRUD procedures and functions Understand and validate software requirements, focusing on quality attributes and other architectural driversDesired Qualifications:BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field Development Certifications: Commercial (JAVA, Microsort, etc.), Open source Cloud certification: e.g. Azure, Google Cloud, AWS – Amazon RCDA Agile certification: e.g. Certified SAFe Agile Software engineer, Professional Scrum Developer Security certification: MIET - Member of IET, ISC2 CSSLP - www.isc2.orgCGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role.
