Responsibilities
- Arriving to the terminal at 7:00 AM with the appropriate appearance in uniform
- Scanning & delivering packages
- Memorizing codes
- Picking up packages within a designated window of time
- Driving a commercial vehicle
- Conducting daily pre-trip & post-trip vehicle inspections
- Knowledge of delivering hazardous materials
- Performing superior customer service
Qualifications
- 21 years or older
- Valid driver's license
- Must have a customer service oriented, friendly, helpful, and professional disposition.
- Must know how to navigate the roads using a GPS or alternative map system
- Commercial driving experience 1 year within the last 36 months of commercial driving experience (experience delivering pizzas, newspapers, lawn care, trucks with an attached trailer would all be applicable)
- Driving history required. Clean driving record - No DUIS. No phone/texting, reckless driving tickets, seat belt violations, etc. in past 3 years. No more than 1 moving violation in the past year or no more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years. No more than 1 preventable accident in the past 3 years. Suspensions on your record may disqualify you. We need to see a recent copy of your driving record from DMV.
- Clean criminal record - No major misdemeanors or felonies in past 10 years.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- Able to pass DOT medical exam and drug test
- Legal status to work in the USA
- Able to speak conversational English
