New private practice looking to hire a new cross trained dental assistant
Pediatric dental office located in the heart of Front Royal
Monday Tuesday Friday and two Saturday
We are looking for an energetic, efficient and enthusiastic person to join our team. Candidate must have
Dental X-ray certification should be well organized and positive person
Team player, attentive to detail, hard worker, fast learner and friendly demeanor needed
Bilingual is a plus
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for dental work by obtaining their medical history and vital signs
- Assist the dentist during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs
- Sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Manage inventory and supplies in the dental office
Skills
- Proficiency in dental terminology and procedures
- Experience with Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or similar dental software
- Familiarity with four-handed dentistry techniques
- Ability to take and record accurate vital signs
- Previous experience as a dental receptionist is a plus
