Provide ongoing support, including troubleshooting application system issues and implementing enhancements to align with evolving needs and priorities post-implementation. Serve as the primary interface with clinical system vendors and act as a site liaison. Conduct and facilitate clinical system user training during general orientation sessions. Review and approve timecards for other Clinical Informatics positions and establish schedules for team members. Coordinate and delegate projects within the clinical IT domain at the facility. Act as a subject matter expert on the EMR and other systems used for patient care within the facility. Helps coordinate downtime processes and procedures during EMR scheduled/unscheduled downtimes. Manages clinical projects and deadlines for new systems/changes.Help Desk and Customer ServiceInterviews clinical staff to determine nature and scope of the issue, and the appropriate response/action. Diagnoses, resolves, and closes customer issues according to service level guidelines. Promptly escalates issues to higher level technical support or management when necessary. May help after hours for emergent needs with the IT on-call personnel.Job RequirementsMinimum Education□ Associate degree □ Required□ Bachelor’s degree □ Preferred□ MSN □ PreferredRequired SkillsRequires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
