On a daily basis, ACU Clinical Coordinators:Coordinates staff scheduling, educational/development activities, and performance evaluations.Identifies and resolves issues affecting the delivery of clinical services.Performs quality assurance studies and assists with implementation of QA/QI initiatives.Serves as a resource to staff and external contacts on issues related to patient care, patient flow and clinical standards, policies and procedures.Monitors departmental compliance with applicable requirements, including accreditation, legal, and The Joint Commission.Will assume required call for department when scheduled. Call will be split between other Clinical Coordinators during scheduling period.Minimum EducationAssociate’s Degree Nursing (ADN): Required
Bachelor’s degree (BSN): PreferredRequired SkillsRequires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Handle with Care within 30 days of hire
Licenses: Kentucky RN state licensure or compact licensure required.
